Founded in 1972, we have been an FA Charter Standard Club since 2007. This ensures that every team has at least one FA level 1 qualified coach assigned to it, responsible for the development of the team and the well-being of the individual players. Our strong ties with the Community Team at Reading Football Club provide other opportunities for our players and coaches to develop their skills in football.

VOLUNTEER FOR TWYFORD COMETS FC
Twyford Comets FC is always seeking to recruit, develop and reward a committed team of volunteers to fill a wide variety of roles for our Club.
A large base of volunteers is essential if we are to deliver a truly fantastic football club that is successful on and off the field, and provides exceptional footballing opportunities for our youth.
Currently we require a number of volunteers to fill the following positions:
- Communications Officer
- Events Manager
- Kit and Equipment Manager
- Child Welfare Officer
- Fund Raising Officer
- Website Administrator
Training and assistance will be provided for all these roles. On average only an hour a week is required to perform the duties of the above roles.
There are other roles within the club as well, so please contact us if you have a particular skill that you would like to volunteer.
Anything you can do can help!!
BE PART OF YOUR FOOTBALL CLUB If you can spare a few hours a week and wish to contribute to the future success of Twyford Comets FC then please contact us. Please state your name, contact details, availability and details any specific roles you are interested in.
